1 I pointed this out back in 2004.1, but this still seems to not have been
2 looked at. Catalyst should implant a full copy of make.conf from
3 portage after it finishes building, that way the user has a make.conf w/
4 all the comments available, not a generated one. Possible to get it
5 fixed for 2004.3? A user at the ML below has already inquired about
6 this on portage-dev.

11 btw, catalyst stage2 generation still doesn't create a pkgcache w/o the
12 following patch to bootstrap, which could use review by a bootstrap
13 expert to make sure it doesn't trigger any issues with fetch (-f
14 bootstrap.sh param).
