With the final upload of 2004.2 right around the corner (July 19th) and |

the final release July 26th, it is time to start seriously thinking |

about building the final release |

The specfile templates for the packagecd and livecd have had some |

additions and other changes since 2004.1. To ensure a consistent package |
| 8 |
set across all architectures, I *will not be modifying these after July |
| 9 |
7th*. If there are any more additions, please contact me ASAP. |

A condensed version of our schedule would look like so: |

July 7th - specfiles locked, start final build |

July 19th - Uploads are ready on dev.gentoo.org |
