Release Engineering has nothing to do with what goes onto the Gentoo |
11 |
infrastructure. We simply build the releases and pass them off to our |
12 |
infrastructure team. Currently, the person that stages the mirrors is |
13 |
not the same person who sets up the bouncer, or submits items to the |
14 |
store (which hasn't ever had 2005.1*). |

I am trying to make it so we can submit items to the store directly, and |
17 |
possibly change the procedure for the bouncer so it is also done when |
18 |
the mirrors are staged and the release is made live. |

The bouncer is a relatively new thing and I think it just needs the |
21 |
process streamlined a little to improve its usefulness. |
