9 Comment #5 made me pretty upset. This guy paid money for our CD set and
10 it doesn't work. This is definitely a very big black eye for Gentoo as
11 a whole. Our installation media is the first experience people will
12 have with Gentoo. With that being said, I am going to make sure that I
13 help out in any way possible to help test the 2004.2 x86 (and amd64)
14 LiveCD's. I have 4 different (p3, athlon-mp, xeon, opteron) SMP
15 machines and can test several configurations with them (scsi, scsi raid,
16 ide). I also have a laptop, so I can test PCMCIA.

18 I'm sending this to let everybody know. If you need my help, please
19 ask. I will gladly help test. After all, how can I recommend Gentoo to
20 people if our installation media is b0rked?
