Subject: HOWTO: CVS + mechanisms to track who is editing files
Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2004 14:30:41 +0100
Hi,

I think the following technique could be useful to both catalyst and
genkernel development:

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/cvs/
cvs_82.html#SEC83

This would allow one to track API changes, to track who is editing what
files,... Might be a relevant technique to avoid rediculous arguments
about 'people refusing to commit' when in fact they haven't even
started editing, or to automatically communicate with the watchers for
a specific area.

Pieter
