The ppc, x86 and amd64 profiles have the GRP_STAGE23_USE variable set in |

their make.profile, which is good. But the sparc64 and other profiles |

also need this variable set. It is very important for the profile to |
| 6 |
have this variable if you are using catalyst. For more information, |
| 7 |
please read the catalyst README (in gentoo/src/catalyst/ -- search for |
| 8 |
"GRP_STAGE23_USE") and look at the x86 make.defaults for a reasonable |
| 9 |
default to use on your arch. |
