Hi all -
Sorry for the seeming ultimatum - I wrote that message at a time when I
was busy/ preoccupied with other things, and my word choice was
certainly not the best.

There is no set drop-dead deadline for 2004.0. Somewhere around Jan 22
would be nice, but obviously, and understandably, not all arches will be
able to do that. Like I said to Jason - if you can't make the deadline
because of QA/ testing issues - don't worry about it. Do your best to
get your arch to where they need to be to release - don't kill yourself
over a date ;)

As for catalyst/ livecds, they are getting there. Daniel says that a
fully functioning livecd is not far away (sorry for the ambiguity -
Daniel probably knows a better eta). Once x86 gets working, it should
not be that hard to drop in support for ppc, sparc, etc. If we can't
make the release date because we don't have a livecd for arch x, its no
big deal. It would be nice to release on the 22nd, but again, don't kill
yourself over it. Each arch will release when they are ready.

Again, sorry for the misunderstanding. What I said was wrong.

Cheers,
//zhen
