20 I really like the idea of Gentoopix. We are not far at all from having a
21 X LiveCD. I could surely see this as something for 2004.3 (or .4
22 depending on circumstances). Could we use a different name though

25 How does gentoopix obviate GRP? One of the installation cases that we
26 have to keep in mind is networkless installs. If the LiveCD had the
27 functionality of building installation packages from the packages
28 present on the LiveCD (as proposed by pvdabeel), then we could fulfill
29 that case. Even then, I am not sure if it is flexible enough for our
30 needs - would we need x86 and i686 gentoopix LiveCDs then? Would we just
31 need to provide distfiles? What about slower machines?

33 This is definitely an area to explore, as it would be nice to have a
34 unified LiveCD that was GRP and a X environment rolled into one as it
35 would save a *ton* of resoures, but there are a lot of angles that need
36 to be addressed.
