After building several test-cds we now have the following status:

- genkernel now works flawlessly (all do* options work and --callback
are fine -- thanks plasmaroo for working on it :) )

- both kernel-configs are set up and committed to catalyst-cvs

- desired bootsplash comes up fine on bootup, but on shutdown we still
get the default-light-blue theme (maybe we can call this "the
no-name-theme" in the future ;) )

- on bootup, init still complains about /mnt/.init.d not being
unmountable (does this have something to do with / being mounted twice
on tmpfs?)

- / is mounted twice on tmpfs

- on shutdown, _only_with_the_2.6_kernel_ I get this lovely "Press
Ctrl-d for maintaince" prompt, while the system proceeds to shutdown in
the background

For the test-stages, it looks like this:

- /dev doesn't get pulled into stage1; zhen expanded catalyst to fix it,
I didn't had a chance to test that fix but no matter what this should be
fixed in baselayout (which is basically responsible for pulling /dev in)

- when testing a stage2-file, that weird %-perl-bug appeared (the one
where nobody knows where it comes from and which I desperately tried to
reproduce while doing the tests for .0 a few months ago)

That's all, folks
