17 sage-on-gentoo and sage are still on the 3.1.x branch. There is some
18 work to go 4.0, I don't think 4.0.0 or 4.0.2 should matter too much.

20 I cannot talk for 4ti2 but flint certainly should work on ppc64.
21 I unfortunately don't have gentoo running on the ppc(64) hardware
22 I have access to [it's not mine personally] but the stuff compiles
23 and runs happily on that hardware.
