I saw a topic about ParaView ebuild in archive. I'm also interesting it in |

this application. I did some investigation and found that ParaView source |

already contain VTK. of course it would be preferable to have VTK package |

installed separately, but as well as I understood it is hard to compile |
| 7 |
ParaView using external VTK, and ParaView developers prefer not to do that (I |
| 8 |
found something like that in their maillist) |

one more interesting visualization application is VisIt |

Unfortunately I cannot spend much time now for compilation from source and |

ebuild writing (and I'm not experienced in it), but I'm ready to be a tester. |
