The SRC_URI for giac-0.9.2 should be:

  "ftp://ftp-fourier.ujf-grenoble.fr/linux/xcas/${P}.tar.gz"

(note the addtion of linux/ in the path).

Also, giac-0.9.3 is out, but is now a tar.bz2.
