10 Last time I tried to convert gentoo-x86 to mercurial it ran for 30
11 days on a high powered ppc64 system. If you want to see how well
12 mercurial compares I highly suggest getting a treesnap of gentoo-x86
13 and doing the conversion. I tried in 2006 and I hope the conversion
14 tools have improved.
15 That being said I'm pretty sure most of us are set on git here and it
16 would take some convincing to try something else.
