Subject: Converting a recent CVS copy - Item 1: mailmap fun
Date: Tue, 14 Apr 2009 01:13:02 -0700
So I was working on conversion of a newer copy of CVS.
I did start off with an initial mailmap, populated with all Gentoo developers
in LDAP, including an additional entries for any developer that has renamed in
the past (via gentooAlias).

However, I ran into a couple of cases that weren't well documented prior to
this, and one fun CVS bus. I'm not going to do another run right away with
these, we'll just live with them for now.

Author: grant <grant>
Author: sergey <sergey>
Author: robh <robh>
Author: uid2153 <uid2153>
Author: uid2162 <uid2162>
Author: uid2214 <uid2214>
Author: uid895 <uid895>

uid* = Seems to be a CVS bug. If the NSS data was not available when CVS was
writing the file, it just wrote the numeric UID. I'll have to write mailmap
entries that fix these too.

robh = tigger, Rob Holland.
sergey = svyatogor. Renamed very early.
grant = g2boojum. Renamed very early as well.

I've added the 3 of them to the LDAP dataset.
