The repack time/space tradeoff seems to be minimal beyond --window=100
--depth=100.
N=100: ~26 minutes, 911028KiB
N=250: ~30 minutes, 877240KiB
N=1000: ~67 minutes, 857300KiB
(this was all on the 8-core box, 16GiB of RAM).

It's on the machine now, but the patches aren't all merged yet.
I've started a another cvs2svn run, using dberkholz's configs, with the
additional of a mailmap that I built from LDAP.
