Hiya guys,
Just to get the ball rolling, I've added some basic gitpython ebuilds
(a normal and live one) to my developer overlay[1]. I'm willing to test
out repoman changes (although I haven't mirrored the gentoo-x86.git yet)
and my python's not too rusty, so if I can help with any bits and
pieces, let me know...
Also, I've read the back-log and I was hoping someone could list the
benefits of moving to a repo-per-package layout? I've seen the down
sides (shared-directory handling, whole-tree calculation issues,
history-loss during package moves, etc), but I was wondering what the
up-sides were?
Thanks,
Mike 5:)
