I was unaware that the additional hashes (non sha1) were being dropped.
actually, I wasn't referring so much to as not having them around,
they'd be stored on the system obviously... as to the point of why
they are in the git repo, although perhaps I'm not thinking clearly,
wouldn't be the first time. I suppose then the point is as you say to
have the dev generate dist before pushing it. which is an aspect I
hadn't thought of before suggesting dropping them.
