I've got similar error when updating ncurses, but it was caused by |

symlinked /usr. Ncurses has relative path somewhere in Makefile and it |

got outside of sandbox. When not using symlinks, all is Ok. It's bad |

idea to symlink /usr, IMHO, but I was too lazy ;-P |
