15 AFAIK, it's AIDE that there's something wrong with, not your config. I
16 used AIDE for a while with a very simple config (no variables or macros
17 like you have) and I always got messages like that; it was just annoying
18 noise in the reports. There is some discussion about this on the AIDE
19 list and it seems that this is a bug that has existed for a long time.
20 I'm not sure of the details, so you may want to investigate it yourself.

22 This problem and the fact that trying a fancier config prompted AIDE to
23 segfault caused me to give up on it; it's just too buggy. I have a much
24 lower tolerance for bugs in a security tool than elsewhere.
