21 Hopefully its a little fuzzier than that... i.e. you might be able to
22 get away with a vanilla kernel from kernel.org of the apropriate rev,
23 and try out some util-linux packages around the point where you think
24 you might have been. The version of util-linux is the more important of
25 the two I believe, since at some point the "-k" option was dropped from
26 the base util-linux and also the hashing of the password was dropped and
27 replaced by hashalot in the ebuilds. So the first thing you might want
28 to try is your current setup (the one that complains about mount type)
29 with and without hashing.
