We need to improve on this. Fast ;-)

What about the announcement item in the forums? If one GLSA does appear
there, ALL should. If you don't maintain the security announcements in
the forum, then scrap it. All places where security announcements are
issued should be kept in sync under all circumstances. It's better to
scrap one of these places then having it out of sync.

I renewed my subscription. Anything else worked without flaws so I
assumed the same for gentoo-announce.
I appreciate your fast answer. I hope you do agree that there is still
much to be done. It would be a good start to maintain the announcement
page in the forums so that they are in sync with the other media until
the announcements get their own website.
The way things run right now I am not content with Gentoo. It is a great
distribution but security still lacks the necessary professional touch.
My criticism is not ill-tempered. I want Gentoo to improve. So if you
still need someone to fill into your security team or do other work to
maintain or coordinate things, feel free to drop me a note.
kind regards,
Tobias Weisserth
