I may try tomorrow. (My clock shows 0:45 ;))
btw: I'm running openldap-2.2.14 for several weeks now. I use bdb as
backend. "lsof" shows quite a number of ESTABLISHED connections after
a couple of time, but I couldn't detect any problems so far.

The system works fine together with a self-compiled openldap-2.2.18 on
a NetBSD-machine, which acts as a slave. I use the new syncrepl
sync-mechanism. There are also no problems so far.

One more thing: db4-4.2.52nb1 is already part of the NetBSD-1.6.2
STABLE package directory. Maybe gentoo could speed things up. ;)
