Hi there, |
2 |
I run my own mail server, Postfix, for me my family and some friends. As |
3 |
many of you I subscribe to many mailing lists, and some time ago I began |
4 |
having problems receiving mail from some of them. |
5 |
|
6 |
Namely: gentoo bugzilla, reiserfslist and all the lists at vger.org |
7 |
(i.e. lklm or raid). |
8 |
|
9 |
The symptons are that I just don't see any connection made from those |
10 |
their respective servers. Postfix sends the subscription request just |
11 |
fine --mails are acknowledged as valid by the mail server at the other |
12 |
end--, but that's all. I won't see ever again any sign of life from |
13 |
them. It is not my mail server blocking/dropping the connection, nor is |
14 |
the firewall --they all all recorded on my logs--. Those waited for |
15 |
connections never happen. |
16 |
|
17 |
What could it be? It just began to happen one day on lklm and some time |
18 |
after also on reiserfs. Later I checked that I couldn't use my bugzilla |
19 |
account anymore. |
20 |
|
21 |
Since I simply don't see any attempt of connection to my server, and I |
22 |
receive mil from many other servers just fine, I'm out of clue.. |
23 |
|
24 |
Before anyone suggests it, it is not ECN, since I have it disabled. |
