1 Well I got basic mail functions working... hooray! Haven't started
2 working on vpopmail yet, but at least I can now send a mail to the
3 server and retrieve it with my home mail client.

5 The problem ultimately turned out to be -- I think -- because the user
6 (chas) that I was using for my testing had been created before I emerged
7 qmail. Even though I had done maildirmake for that user, I guess that
8 wasn't enough. I made a new user and it works.
