[gentoo-server] Getting commercial software certified on Gentoo

Hi there,

    I'm curious on this... how does this work? The commercial companies 
selects the distros they will be certifying their software on? Or are 
the distros the one that initiate the process contacting the commercial 
company and expressing their interest? Is there any insterest among the 
Gentoo devs to have this kind of certifications available?
