Thanks, Fred! I gave it a try when I was in the "I'll try anything" |

phase of the troubleshooting. During boot I get a message about not |

being able to provide net because the net service is already defined |

blah blah blah. (It doesn't get through to dmesg and I can't recall |

exactly what the message is but that's the gist.) No luck there. |

That surprised me since I thought the provide keyword could be used by |

any number of services that provide a virtual service. Maybe net is |
15 |
different. |
