20 I've got a Gentoo Mysql server running nicely on a Dell 2850 which is
21 fairly recent. Had no problems recognizing the Raid card, ether, etc.
22 with the live disk and all the devices are supported in 2.6. That box is
23 still using the 32bit chips so I can't help you there.
