Hello,

Very interesting! I would love to read more on your work up to this point.
I'm also curious, is there a reason you went with Postgresql?

If you haven't already, it may be worth looking into CFengine. The project
may provide tried and true answers to some of your questions when it comes to
client/server communication tools and providing a framework for managing
configurations across multiple platforms. One of CFenginge's primary goals
is to strive to provide distributed stateful configuration management of
servers based on sets of rules and classifications.

I personally hope that one day this project hits the mainstream, as it has a
lot of potential.

Best regards,
