I have used Amanda in the past (actually on Red Hat), but at my current |
6 |
installation we are using... Veritas (a rather moldy old version that |
7 |
required me to make an ebuild for ncurses-4.2 for the shared libs). Why |
8 |
Veritas? It works on a lot of platforms, including Solaris, Windows, |
9 |
Exchange Server, MS SQL, etc. and of course Linux, and it's been here |
10 |
for years and years. However, we are looking at switching, and while |
11 |
Amanda will work on anything UNIX-like, and has some Windows support, it |
12 |
is unlikely to ever support Exchange or MS SQL. |
