I do not know if you are aware of revdep-rebuild. This tool was |

specifically design for this purpose. It's a "Broken reverse |

dependency rebuilder" to quote the help dialog. |

You have to run revdep-rebuild as root (duh) and it will search for |

broken or missing librairies. |
