4 Have you tried VMWare? I use it to demo server configs and thankfully they
5 have a pretty deep discount of 130$ for educational licenses.

7 I would be interested in trying out User Mode Linux though, it sounds
8 interesting. I had tried to set it up previously (a year ago?) but at the
9 time the documentation wasnt very plentiful.

11 I tried to use bochs for a while but it's painful slowness was intolerable,
12 perhaps this will be improved later using the plex86 plugin, but I dont know
13 when work on that will be finished.
