Hi,
I have a postfix setup with virtual domains (courier + mysql) and
everything works fine.
Now I have to setup postfix to send emails from a especific domain
(which have a specific ip alias) but the smtp hostname have to be
informed as this specific domain too, like it:
main domain: xyz.com
virtual domain: xxx.com
I did setup an ip alias at postfix machine and master.cf to enable
smtpd listen on this specific ip alias, but if I try to connect to
this ip alias on port 25, the identification that I get is the
hostname of the main domain instead of the virtual domain.
I think that the "myhostname" parameter is the responsible for that.
I've looked at the virtual domain docummentations and also looked at
all the main.cf parameters but I can't found a way to rewrite this
identification with the virtual domain hostname.
Is there a way to do it? Or I'll have to do an another postfix setup
in other machine?
Tks in advice,
Claudinei Matos
