[gentoo-soc] USB bootable clustering LiveCD

I am planning to participate as a student in this year's gsoc.  I was
looking at the project suggestion page, and I think that making the
clustering LiveCD bootable from USB would be an interesting project.
I have been looking at the site for last year's project:
http://soc.gentooexperimental.org/projects/show/gentoo-cluster-seed
and I would like to try out the LiveCD to see how it works, but I
could not find a LiveCD image to download.  Is there some other place
I can download the LiveCD image, or am I better off building my own
LiveCD image based on the instructions in the git repository?
