I'm working on `Framework for automated ebuild generators [1]. My mentor
is Rafael Martins. The aim of this project is to facilitate creation of
ebuild-generators for 3d party software providers. For those interested
in the advance of a project there is a Kanban board [2] and a
git-repository with code [3].

Status: a little bit behind the schedule.

This work I've worked on PyPI backend, documentation and different
little fixes in existing code. Also there was a midterm evaluation.

At the moment there is a documentation and existing backends (gs-elpa
and gs-ctan) can be tested. As I've mentioned in my previous report
gs-ctan is no so useful as there is a good support for TeX Live in the
main tree, but it is functional and still can help you.

I ask those interested to test g-sorcery and give me feedback. You can
find documentation in README [4] and in man pages if you'll install
g-sorcery.

Here is a short installation instruction:

- Install layman-9999 patched with [5]. If you do not know how to patch
it see README or any relevant Gentoo documentation.
- Add `jauhien` overlay with `layman -a jauhien`.
- Install g-sorcery.
- man gs-elpa, man gs-ctan
- Send me feedback ;-)

Plans for the next week:

- paludis integration is still actual
- PyPI
- better configuration and more CLI options
