This year, let’s try something different! I posted a rough draft of our |
2 |
organization application on the Gentoo wiki [1], in hopes that we can all |
3 |
work together to improve it over the next week. Applications are due |
4 |
starting March 9, and earlier is better. Here’s a list of questions that |
5 |
you can help answer: |
6 |
|
7 |
* Why is your group applying to participate? What do you hope to |
8 |
gain by participating? |
9 |
|
10 |
* What criteria do you use to select the members of your group? |
11 |
Please be as specific as possible. |
12 |
|
13 |
* Has your group participated previously? If so, please summarize |
14 |
your involvement and any past successes and failures. |
15 |
|
16 |
* What questions/requests do we want in our application template for |
17 |
students, in addition to the GSoC application? |
18 |
|
19 |
* What is your plan for dealing with disappearing students? |
20 |
|
21 |
* What is your plan for dealing with disappearing mentors? |
22 |
|
23 |
* What steps will you take to encourage contributors to interact |
24 |
with your community before, during, and after the program? |
25 |
|
26 |
* What will you do to ensure that your accepted contributors stick |
27 |
with the project after the program concludes? |
28 |
|

Go to the wiki [1], and help Gentoo’s application rock! |
