The biggest issue I saw with 2.4/LVM was partitioning the disks. Putting LVM |

This was on an U30 with an external disk array (2 x 18GB) and a 9GB internal |

as root and boot. The LVM partitions were on the external array. I striped |

/var and /usr across those drives. |
