OK, that gets me to a liveCD prompt. But I also get errors that the |

audio devices and network devices weren't detected. My "personal |

project" is going to be a home-built Smoothwall/IPcop type device, so |

I don't really care about audio. However, the network devices are |

essential. `net-setup eth0' runs, but does really configure anything. |

The only device that exists afterwards is lo. Do I need to `modprobe' |

something? Is that likely what's causing the kernel to fail with the |
