I'm rebuilding a couple of boxen that I had as Solaris systems and |

replacing with gentoo-sparc. On both systems (one is an Ultra1 |

Creator3d, the other is an Ultra5), I'm using the 2006.0 sparc install |

CD and the "generic" 2006.0 sparc64 profile (not the sparc64/2.4 |

profile). I can't seem to get these guys up and running on the newest |
| 11 |
2.6 kernel. If you read back through the list, I've got several U1s |
| 12 |
running with 2.6.15-r5 quite successfully (incidentally, I haven't |
| 13 |
tried that kernel yet), so I know the 2.6 kernel will work. |

I'm going to give the 2.6.15-r5 kernel a shot, since I've had luck |

with that in the past, but I wanted to poll the list to see if anyone |
| 17 |
was running 2.6.17-r1 and having any amount of success. |
