No decisions have been made, so we will not be able to give you a
definitive commitment at this time. Sven and I were just discussing
the redesign today, in fact.
Speaking only for myself, I like the new logo and it's something that the
community as a whole has chosen as well. I think we would need to have a
strong, compelling case for not using it since it is something the
community has voted on.
I can certainly make sure to let you know as soon as we *have* reached a
decision, but as with most things in the FOSS world, it's going to take
more time than any of us might like.
