GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647

Only the Itanium 2 is a loaner box, and I was told that it's a "long term
loaner" and HP _may_ not ask for it back. Although you should be prepared to
give if it is requested. The AMD64 and Sparc64 box were given to/bought for
Gentoo.
