The 501(c)(3) subsidiary would be a seperate entity that your average user |

could use to donate to on a tax exempt basis. That organization would be a |
| 11 |
charity in that we would be accepting donations into that organization that |
| 12 |
would be used to fuel Gentoo development. This works seperate from the |
| 13 |
Gentoo Foundation 501(c)(6) itself, but would most likely be operated by the |
| 14 |
same people. It could be used for planned fundraising activities where |
| 15 |
donation amounts could be more controlled. This can be far down the road, |
| 16 |
I'm not saying they need to both be filed initially. It would just be |
| 17 |
another avenue for funding Gentoo development. |
