My concern is that we could get everything signed over and then realize |

that the code still lives on the Gentoo Technologies cvs server, and |

that be a legal loophole. |

I'm with Grant in that I don't think this will be finalized anytime in |

the near future. |

Lately my opinion is leaning to the "screw it!" side as most developers |

don't see the value in it and want to fight the idea anyway. So if a |

misuse of Gentoo ever occurred, just leave it up to them to defend their |
28 |
copyrights. It won't be possible, but I figure the risk of something |
29 |
like PearPC-CherryOS ever happening and not being able to solve it is |
30 |
worth it compared to trying to convince the developers that what we are |
31 |
doing is good for them. |
