Hi everyone,

Grant and I have been chatting via email about how to resolve the
"stranded Store checks" issue. We've agreed upon the following steps,
both of which are happening today:

1) Me mailing out a new Gentoo Technologies, Inc. check directly to
NetBank for immediate deposit into the Foundation's account. I'm
sending it out today via priority mail.

2) Me cancelling the original checks that were sent out in November
and December 2004 and have not yet been cashed. These checks are
currently in Kurt's posession. When he is available again, you can
just let him know that he can destroy these checks.

The total of the checks being cancelled was $1200. The amount for the
new check is $1500.

I think Corey has mailed you privately about what I will be focusing
on over the next several months. I am also going to continue to do
what I can to get the Store profitable. In the next few days, I will
have actual professional photos of Store products online, and we will
finally be getting our hoodies and hats in stock. We'll see what
happens. Let's hope the Gentoo community responds to the additions and
we can get the store to where we would all like it to be.

There also seem to be a lot of people looking for a larry the cow
t-shirt. I'll look into what I can do on this front.
