Hi John,
Wendy Seltzer passed on your request for assistance to the EFF cooperating
attorneys list, and we found several attorneys who are available and
interested in providing the Gentoo Foundation with legal advice.
We got positive responses from two attorneys, a law clinic, and one
additional attorney who has relevant experience and is willing to help
out. I have pasted the contact information for each of the respondants
below. It is up to you to contact and select the attorney.
[Redacted] is "very interested."

"The American University IP law clinic may be able to help with this--do
you have any more information on this -such as time frames etc.?"

"I'm doing the same sort of thing for Apache these days. I don't have time
to take on someone else, but if you get a volunteer, I'd be interested in
sharing ideas/working with them (unofficially)."
Good luck, and please keep us updated on how this works out.
Sincerely,
Katie Lucas

Thank God for the EFF :)
Trustees, with whom would you like to proceed?
