da ich soeben an zwei verschiedenen PCs ein sehr ähnliches Problem mit xorg |

lösen durfte, möchte ich das grad mal hier posten. |

Es ging auf beiden PCs drum, dass nach einem 'emerge -uD world' xorg ohne |

wirklichen Grund abstürzte. Beim einen PC beim starten des kdm. Beim anderen |
| 8 |
(der nutzte gdm+icewm), sobald man eine qt-Anwendung starten wollte. |

Workaround-Lösung war beides mal die /etc/X11/xorg.conf zu entfernen und der |

xorg autodetection die Konfiguration zu überlassen. |

Ein Hinweis auf die mögliche Ursache war in der /var/log/Xorg.* zu sehen: |
