Wie schonmal hier im Thread beschrieben, bei mir sind die Umlaute ohne UTF-8
weg:

# ls
A/  Ä/  !B/  C/
# LC_COLLATE=C ls
!B/  A/  C/  ??/
# LC_COLLATE=de ls
!B/  A/  C/  ??/
# LC_COLLATE=de_DE.UTF_8 ls
A/  Ä/  !B/  C/
# LC_COLLATE=en_US.UTF_8 ls
A/  Ä/  !B/  C/
