The students accepted to the Google Summer of Code have been announced. We're
happy to welcome the following people and their projects:

1) Andre Erdmann works on an overlay of automatically generated R packages
2) André Aparício works on libbash, our bash script parsing and testing
library
3) Benda Xu's work will allow Gentoo Prefix users to start daemons using OpenRC
4) Devan Franchini helps you make your system more secure by creating a
SELinux Policy Originator
5) Federico Scrinzi improves the euscan utility and website that checks
upstreams for newer package versions
6) Georgi Gaydarov looks into creating statistics on the Portage tree and
packages installed by users
7) Jing Huang's project Cross Container Support enables developers to build
packages for other arches that you don't get to build using the usual cross-
compiling techniques.
8) Tri Nguyen improves the features and usability of our Recruiting Webapp
