Vamos a ver, dos cosas:

1. Si respondes a los mensajes pulsando el botón 'Reply all', 'Responder 
a todos' o algo parecido el mensaje me llega dos veces: una a mi 
dirección de correo y otra a la lista.

2. CONSOLE_FONT debería ser CONSOLEFONT="lat9w-16" y "descomentar" la 
línea CONSOLETRANSLATION para que quede como la tienes o, mejor, 
CONSOLETRANSLATION="8859-15_to_uni"

PD: ¿Has establecido las variables de entorno LC_ALL y LANG o tienes 
alguna más?
