Hola me parecio ver que estas iniciando con el cd livecd-2004.3 ¿ Esto
es verdad? ¿ Por que no instalas 2005.1 ?.

Por el link que envias tu máquina usa discos sata por lo que tendrias
que colocar.

#cfdisk /dev/sda
o
#fdisk /dev/sda

Bueno espero esto funcione.
