El problema es alsa. a mi me pasó hace un par de días y me dieron la
solución:
en /etc/conf.d/alsasound
UNLOAD_ON_STOP="no"
KILLPROC_ON_STOP="no"
parece que alsa ya no soporta el unload de los módulos...
si busca en la lista inglesa me dieron el link al bug.
